WHAT IS JOINTS ? 

Joint is a site in which one or more bone connect each other by connective tissue that is called joint .

 

There are main 3 types of joints 

a- Fibrous joints 

b- Cartilaginous joint

C- Synovial joint 

1-FIBROUS JOINT 

  1. Two or more bone connect each other in a site by connective tissue called joint . and if that connective tissue is fibrous connective tissue then that is called fibrous joint.EXAMPLE OF FIBROUS JOINTS ARE

1-Sutures of the skull 

2-Syndesmosis 

3-Gomphosis 

SUTURES OF THE SKULL 

In skull there are many sutures which connects two or more bones .

EXAMPLE 

Frontal suture 

Coronal suture 

Sagittal suture 

Lambdoidal suture 

All these sutures are Fibrous joints 

No movement and little movement is there 

In fetal skull there is little movement so that moulding of head  occur at time of delivery and fetus deliver easily.

But in Adult skull there is no movement in skull.
