  • contain nucleus in it .
  • Protect our body from infection and diseases .
  • WBCs constitutes 1%of our blood volume.
  • TYPES OF WBCs
  • 1- GRANULOCYTES
  • Those leukocytes contain granules in their cytoplasm called granulocytes.
  • TYPES  OF GRANULOCYTES
  • 1-Neutrophils
  • 2-Eosinophils
  • 3- Basophils
  •  TYPES OF AGRANULOCYTE
  • Monocytes
  • Lymphocytes
  • NEUTROPHIL
  • Neutrophil help protect come infection and diseases
  • Neutrophils are the most largest amount among all granulocytes.
  • Neutrophils are present 40 to 70% of all white blood cell.
  • Neutrophils are capable of phagocytosis means it can engulf harmful bacteria and dead cell to protect our body.
  • Their life cycle in blood only 8 hours
  •  the body produces about 100 billion neutrophils everyday
  • EOSINOPHILS
  • Eosinophils also destroy harmful practicals so it is also capable of phagocytosis.
  • Out of total Whitebblood cell there is only 2 to 3% are Eosinophils.
  • Their granules content toxic chemicals to destroy enemies like bacteria and parasites.
  • Eosinophils are found at the side of allergic reactions and secret toxic substance.
  • BASOPHIL
  • Pastor feels are also type of white blood cell.
  • Among all granulocytes basophils are present in the lowest amount .
  • Their largest size
  • 0.5 to  1 % present out of all the white blood cell.
  • When some harmful substance enter to our body it active it’s basophils. Basophil is granulocytes so it release chemical stored in their granules.
  • This chemicals are histamine and heparin
  • When he is time in released in blood blood vessels are widen blood flow increases fluid also leaked out from the blood vessels, causing, swelling, redness, itching, Runny nose , Watery eyes .
  • Heparin also present blood clot so that blood flow continue, more WBCs can reach that area and heal faster .
  • MONOCYTES
  • Monocytes are white blood cell contain one nucleus inside it.
  • It’s sale is largest size compared to other white blood cell
  • They are produced in moon marrow and can develop into macrophages.
  • Monocytes are travel around in the bloodstream and when any infection or injury occur in tissue monocytes and go to that place then recognise any job in the plot and then angles and it kills bacteria by using enzymes and chemicals so monocytes have important role in immunity and inflammation.
  • LYMPHOCYTES
  •  Lymphocytes also contain single nucleus
  • It s size is smaller than monocytes
  • Lymphocytes are present in the lymphatic tissue especially in spleen and lymph node.
  • Lymphocytes are produced in red bone marrow and  capable of phagocytosis.
  • There are two main types of lymphocytes,T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes.
